How do notes change my plan?

Explainer 1 min read Updated 6 October 2026

Short answer

On an Adaptive Plan, a note about how a day went is read when the next part of the plan is built, so the days ahead can ease off or step up. On a Full Plan, notes are your own record.

Key points

  • Leave a note on any day: done, skipped, how it felt.
  • Adaptive Plans build the next days around new notes.
  • Notes are part of your plan and are deleted with it.

What to write

A line is enough: "legs heavy, cut it short", "skipped, work ran late", "felt easy". Honest notes make better adjustments.

What happens next

When the next part of an Adaptive Plan is generated, your recent notes are taken into account, and the plan's summary is refreshed when there is a new note to respond to.

On a Full Plan

The schedule stays as generated. If your notes show the plan no longer fits, edit your answers to rebuild it.

How does the Adaptive Plan work?

It is a subscription at $9 a month. Your plan is built a day or a week at a time, and each part reads the notes you left on the last, so the plan adjusts as you go.
