Can I change my plan after it is created?

Short answer

Yes. Edit your goal, dates or answers and a fresh plan is built from where you are today. A Full Plan can be rebuilt up to 5 times; an Adaptive Plan within daily allowances.

Key points

  • Change your goal, dates, starting point or schedule.
  • The plan is rebuilt from today, not from the start.
  • Allowances apply, because each rebuild is generated afresh.

When to change it

A race date moved, a few weeks of illness, a new job, or a change of mind about what you are chasing: each is a reason to revise rather than abandon.

What happens

Open the plan in your dashboard and edit it. A new schedule is built from today using your updated answers.

Allowances

Generating a plan has a real cost, so edits carry allowances. The current ones are listed in the terms and shown in your dashboard.

What if I miss a day or fall behind?

Skip it and pick up the next scheduled day. Don't double up: that is how people get hurt or give up. If you have lost more than a few days, revise the plan so it restarts from where you are.

How do notes change my plan?

On an Adaptive Plan, a note about how a day went is read when the next part of the plan is built, so the days ahead can ease off or step up. On a Full Plan, notes are your own record.
