Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and planizimo. It explains what the Service does, what you pay for it, what we promise, and — just as importantly — what we do not.
A plain-English summary, for orientation only. It is not part of the agreement — the numbered sections below are, and they govern if the two ever disagree.
- You tell us what you are working towards; we build you a dated plan and deliver it. You own what you put in, and you can take your plan with you.
- Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Payment is per plan, not per account, and it is taken by Stripe — we never see your card.
- A subscription ends by itself the moment the plan it pays for is completed. You can also cancel, or delete your account and everything in it, at any time.
- Plans follow methods shaped with planning and psychology professionals, then built for you automatically. They are informed suggestions, not coaching and not medical advice, and nobody reviews yours before it arrives. Your health and safety while training remain yours.
- We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for their own purposes.
1 Who we are and what these Terms cover
These Terms & Conditions (the Terms) are the agreement between you and the operator of planizimo (we, us, the Company). They govern your access to and use of the website at planizimo.com and everything offered through it — the plan wizard, the dashboard, plan generation and delivery, exports and support (together, the Service).
You accept these Terms by ticking the acceptance box when you create a plan, and by using the Service. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.
The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and explains what we do with your information. Read them together.
2 Who may use the Service
To use the Service you must:
- be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live;
- if you are under 18, have the permission of a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf and takes responsibility for your use of the Service;
- be medically fit to undertake the activity you are planning for, and have taken the advice in section 6 seriously;
- use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes;
- give us accurate information, and keep it accurate.
We may refuse, suspend or close an account we reasonably believe does not meet these requirements.
3 Your account
Creating a plan requires an account. You may register with an email address and a password, or sign in with a third-party identity provider where we offer one. We confirm your email address before your account is fully usable, because your plans are delivered to it.
You are responsible for your account and everything done through it, including keeping your password confidential and your email address current. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it. One account is for one person; do not share it, sell it or transfer it.
4 What the Service does
In outline, the Service works like this:
- You choose what you are planning for. Each activity we support asks its own set of questions, because planning a race and planning a habit are not the same job.
- You answer them. Your target and the date you are aiming at, where you are starting from, which days are realistic, what else you have going on, and anything else you want taken into account.
- A plan is built. A dated schedule, one entry per day from your start date to your target, each saying what to do and why it is there — together with an analysis of whether your goal and your deadline actually fit. It follows a method designed with planning and psychology professionals, applied automatically to what you told us; see section 5.
- It is delivered the way you chose. All at once, or a week or a day at a time, in your dashboard and by email at the time and timezone you selected.
- It adapts. On the recurring plans, the notes you leave about how a day went feed into how the days still ahead are rebuilt.
- You can change it or take it with you. You can edit the plan, and export it as a PDF, spreadsheet, CSV file or calendar file, within the allowances in section 12.
The activities we support, the questions they ask and the features available through the Service change over time as we add to them. We describe the Service as it is today; nothing here is a promise that any particular activity, question, format or feature will always be offered.
5 How plans are generated
Behind every activity is a method: how a goal is broken into stages, how effort and recovery are balanced across a week, how a habit is built and kept going once the novelty has worn off. Those methods were shaped with input from people who work professionally in planning and in psychology, and they are what the Service applies to the answers you give.
Applying them is an automated process. Your answers are turned into a plan by software, partly running on specialist systems operated by third parties on our behalf, and the result is checked against the shape a plan must have. No automated check can confirm that a plan is right for you.
Expert input shaped the method; it does not mean a professional has looked at your particular plan. Nobody reviews it before it reaches you. Automatically generated content can be wrong, inconsistent or unsuitable for your circumstances, and can be wrong confidently. Treat every plan as an informed starting point to apply your own judgement to — not as an instruction to follow regardless of how you feel or what is happening around you.
Generation takes time and occasionally fails. Where a plan or a segment cannot be produced, we retry it; where it repeatedly cannot be produced, section 19 applies. We do not guarantee that any two plans generated from the same answers will be identical.
What leaves our systems in order to build your plan, and what does not, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
6 Health, safety and no medical advice
planizimo is not a doctor, a physiotherapist, a dietitian, a psychologist or a coach, and the Service does not provide medical, psychological, nutritional or clinical advice, diagnosis, treatment or supervision. That professionals in planning and psychology helped design the methods behind our plans does not make the Service a professional service, and does not mean any of them has assessed you. Nothing produced by the Service is a substitute for advice from someone who can actually examine you.
You agree that:
- you will consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning, significantly increasing or resuming any exercise or training programme, and particularly if you are pregnant, recovering from injury or illness, managing a medical condition, taking medication, or have any reason to think exercise may not be safe for you;
- you are solely responsible for deciding whether any particular session, activity or intensity is appropriate for you on any given day;
- you will stop immediately and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, breathlessness beyond normal exertion, or any other warning sign;
- you will not attempt to "catch up" missed sessions by doubling them, and you accept that adapting or skipping what the plan says is often the correct decision;
- you take part in any activity at your own risk, and you are responsible for your own safety, your equipment, your surroundings, and your compliance with any local rules or laws that apply to what you are doing.
The quality of a plan depends entirely on the accuracy of what you tell us. If you overstate your current level, understate a limitation, or set a target that is not realistic for the time available, the plan you receive will reflect that. The analysis we produce will tell you when a goal and a deadline do not appear to fit; please take it seriously.
Results vary between individuals, and no outcome is promised. Nothing in the Service should be read as a prediction or guarantee that you will reach a target, achieve a time, build a habit or avoid injury.
7 Free trial, plans and prices
Payment is per plan, not per account. You may run more than one plan, and each is paid for — or not — on its own terms. Every plan begins with a 7-day free trial, so you can see what you are buying before you buy it.
Billed monthly · cancel anytime
One time payment
What each includes:
Adaptive Plan — $9.00 / month
Training that changes with you. Each session is built from how your last ones actually went.
- Daily or weekly sessions delivered to your inbox
- Plan adapts based on your progress and feedback
- Change your personal and target details
Full Plan — $34.00 one time
Your whole training plan, generated once and ready to follow from day one.
- Your complete training plan, generated in one go
- One payment — no subscription, nothing to cancel
- Up to 5 changes to your personal and target details
- Available as PDF, Excel or calendar
All prices are stated in USD and, unless we say otherwise at checkout, exclude any sales tax, VAT or equivalent that applies where you are. Where such tax applies it is calculated and shown at checkout and added to the amount you pay.
We may change our prices. A change never affects a one-off plan you have already paid for. For a recurring plan we will give you reasonable notice before a new price applies to your next billing period, and you are free to cancel before it takes effect. The prices shown on this page and at checkout at the time you pay are the prices that apply to that purchase.
If a price is displayed incorrectly because of an obvious error, we are not obliged to supply at that price; we will tell you and you may confirm the correct price or cancel.
8 Payment and billing
Card details are entered directly into Stripe's payment form and are handled by Stripe under its own terms and its own security certification. We never receive, see or store your full card number. What we keep is the fact that a payment succeeded, the identifier Stripe gives it, and when it happened.
By paying you authorise us, through Stripe, to charge the payment method you provide for the amount shown at checkout. For the recurring plan you authorise a repeating charge for the same amount each billing period until the subscription ends under section 9 or section 10.
If a recurring payment fails we will attempt it again for a reasonable period and let you know. If it cannot be collected, the subscription ends and the plan it paid for stops being generated and delivered; the plan and its history remain in your dashboard, and you can restart it by paying again.
You are responsible for keeping your payment details valid, and for any bank, card or currency-conversion charges your provider applies.
9 Automatic cancellation when a plan completes
This is built into the Service, not a favour you have to ask for, and there is nothing to opt into.
When a plan is completed — either because you mark it complete, or because its target date has passed and the Service completes it for you — any active subscription that was paying for that plan is cancelled with our payment provider automatically. You are not billed again for a plan that has finished.
We will email you when this happens. If the cancellation cannot be completed at that moment for a technical reason, the Service retries it; if you ever see a charge for a plan that has completed, contact us and we will put it right.
A one-off plan has nothing recurring attached to it, so there is nothing to cancel in the first place.
10 Cancelling and deleting your account
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account, without giving a reason and without contacting us first. Cancellation stops future billing. The plan stops being generated and delivered, and what has already been generated stays in your dashboard for you to read and export.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account at any time, from your account settings. When you do:
- every active subscription on your account is cancelled with our payment provider first, so deleting your account never leaves a subscription running behind you;
- your plans, the answers behind them, their generated content and their history are deleted;
- your account itself is deleted, and you are signed out;
- we email you to confirm it has happened.
There is no recovery, no grace period and no archive to restore from. Export anything you want to keep before you delete your account. Deleting your account does not refund anything already paid — see section 11.
What survives deletion, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
11 Refunds and changes of mind
The 7-day free trial exists so that you can evaluate the Service before paying for it. We ask you to use it.
By paying for a plan and asking for it to be generated, you are asking us to begin supplying digital content to you immediately, and you acknowledge that:
- a one-off plan is delivered in full at the point it is generated, and the fee for it is non-refundable once generation has begun;
- a subscription can be cancelled at any time and cancellation takes effect for future billing periods; we do not refund a billing period that has already started, and access continues for the period you have paid for;
- we do not refund on the basis that you did not use the Service, changed your mind about your goal, or did not achieve an outcome.
Nothing in this section limits any right to a refund, repair, replacement or cancellation that consumer protection law in your country gives you and that cannot be excluded by agreement. Where such a right applies, it applies. And where something has genuinely gone wrong on our side — you were charged twice, charged for a plan that had completed, or never received a plan you paid for — contact us and we will fix it.
12 Fair use and plan allowances
Generating a plan has a real cost each time, so some actions carry an allowance. These are the current limits. Except where noted, each is a rolling 24-hour cap per plan.
| Action | Free trial | Adaptive Plan | Full Plan | After completion |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Edit plan name, default and status | 3 per day | Unlimited | Unlimited | Not available |
| Change the delivery schedule | Not available | 2 per day | Unlimited | Not available |
| Rebuild the plan from new answers | Not available | 1 per day | 2 per day | Not available |
| Export or email the plan as a file | 2 per day | 3 per day | 3 per day | 1 per day |
| Send a support message | 2 per day | 3 per day | 3 per day | 1 per day |
In addition, a Full Plan may be rebuilt from new answers 5 times in total over its life, not only 5 times a day.
A plan that is not paid for — a trial that has lapsed, or a subscription that has ended — is frozen rather than deleted: you keep everything already generated, and paying resumes it.
These allowances may change as the Service changes; the values shown here and in your dashboard are the current ones. We may also apply reasonable technical limits to protect the Service, and may contact you before restricting an account whose usage is far outside normal personal use.
13 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or in breach of any law or regulation that applies to you;
- submit content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that infringes anyone's rights;
- submit anyone else's personal information, or create a plan on behalf of another person without their knowledge and consent;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' accounts or any underlying system, or to probe, scan or test its security;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, or place an unreasonable load on it, including by automated means;
- scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download content from the Service, or use it to build, train or improve a competing product or automated system;
- resell, sublicense, republish or commercially exploit plans or other content produced by the Service;
- circumvent any allowance, paywall, access control or usage limit, including by creating multiple accounts to obtain repeated free trials;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the methods, instructions or logic behind the Service;
- misrepresent the Service, or present its output as professional medical, coaching or health advice.
14 Your information and what we may do with it
You keep ownership of everything you put into the Service — your answers, your notes, your messages (Your Content). We do not claim it, and we do not sell it.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit and process Your Content, and to disclose it to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, strictly for the purposes of operating the Service for you: generating your plan, delivering it, producing your exports, supporting you and keeping the Service secure. That licence exists so that we can run the Service, it goes no further than that, and it ends when you delete your account.
You confirm that you have the right to submit Your Content and that doing so does not breach anyone else's rights or any law.
The plan generated for you is yours to use for your own personal purposes, including exporting it, printing it and keeping it after your subscription ends.
If you send us feedback, suggestions or ideas about the Service, we may use them without obligation, restriction or payment to you. Please do not send us confidential information as feedback.
15 Our intellectual property
The Service itself — the website, its design, text, graphics, brand, the wizard structures and questions, the prompts and methodology behind plan generation, and the software that runs it all — belongs to the Company or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of it to you.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms. Any other use requires our written permission.
16 Email delivery
Plans and account notices are delivered by email as well as being available in your dashboard. Email is not a guaranteed delivery mechanism: messages are delayed, filtered and rejected by mail providers for reasons outside our control. You are responsible for giving us a working address, keeping it current, and making sure our messages are not blocked.
Emails from the Service are service messages about your account and your plans — plan deliveries, trial and billing notices, security and account confirmations. They are part of the Service and are not marketing. If you do not want them, cancel the plan or delete your account. Your dashboard always holds the current state of your plan whether or not any email arrived.
17 Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep the Service available and running well, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free or secure. Access may be suspended for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control, including failures of third-party providers on whom the Service depends.
We may change, add to, or withdraw features of the Service. Where a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will give you reasonable notice and, if you no longer want the Service on the new terms, you may cancel a subscription before the change takes effect. We may discontinue the Service entirely, in which case we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your plans.
Some features may be offered as previews or in development. They are provided as they are, may change or disappear, and may be less reliable than the rest of the Service.
18 Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and everything produced through it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
Without limiting that, we do not warrant that:
- any plan, analysis or recommendation is accurate, complete, appropriate for you, or capable of achieving any result;
- following a plan is safe for you, or will not cause or contribute to injury, illness or aggravation of a condition;
- the Service will meet your requirements, or will be available, uninterrupted or free of errors or vulnerabilities;
- emails will be delivered, or delivered on time.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or conditions. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only so far as the law permits, and you may have rights in addition to those in these Terms.
19 Limitation of liability
Please read it. It allocates risk between us, and the price of the Service reflects it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, data, or wasted expenditure, however caused;
- we are not liable for any injury, illness, aggravation of a condition, overtraining, missed target, failed event or other physical or performance outcome arising from following, adapting or ignoring a plan — the decisions you make about your own body are yours, as set out in section 6;
- we are not liable for loss or corruption of content you did not export, for the acts, omissions or failures of third-party providers, or for anything caused by information you gave us that was inaccurate or incomplete;
- our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service and these Terms, on any basis whatsoever, is limited to the greater of the total amount you actually paid us in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or $34.00.
Each part of this section operates separately. If any part is held unenforceable, the rest continue to apply.
You must bring any claim arising out of or relating to the Service within one year of the event giving rise to it, or as soon after that as the law where you live requires if it does not permit a shorter period than it provides.
20 Your indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its owners, officers, employees and contractors from any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your breach of any law, or content you submitted. This does not apply to the extent the claim arises from our own breach or negligence, and it does not apply where the law where you live does not permit it.
21 Suspension and termination by us
We may suspend or close your account, or withdraw access to part or all of the Service, if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service, other users, or a third party. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
If we close your account for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused portion of any period you have paid for in advance. If we close it because of your breach, no refund is due.
Sections that by their nature should survive the end of this agreement do survive it — including sections 6, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20 and 24.
22 Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers — for payment processing, hosting, email delivery, sign-in and plan generation. They are listed in the Privacy Policy. Their own terms govern their services, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
The Service may link to, or let you export into, third-party sites and applications (a calendar application, for example). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
23 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms — to reflect changes to the Service, to our providers, or to the law. The current version is always at this address, with the date it took effect at the top.
For changes that materially affect your rights or obligations we will give you reasonable notice, by email or in the Service, before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, cancel your subscription or delete your account before they take effect.
24 Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service (including non-contractual ones), are governed by the laws of the country in which the Company is established, and the courts of that country have jurisdiction over them.
Nothing above deprives you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us: most issues are resolved quickly and informally, and we would always rather fix a problem than argue about it.
25 General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service, and replace anything said or written before.
- Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable, or removed; the rest stays in force.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours to a successor of our business, provided your rights under these Terms are not reduced.
- No third-party rights. Nobody other than you and the Company has any right to enforce these Terms.
- Events outside our control. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by something beyond our reasonable control, including provider outages, network failures, and acts of government.
- No partnership. These Terms do not create any partnership, agency or employment relationship between us.
- Language. These Terms are written in English, and the English version governs.
26 How to contact us
Questions about these Terms, a billing problem, or anything else — write to us at info@planizimo.com, or send a message from the support option in your dashboard, which reaches us with your plan already attached.
We aim to respond to every message within a few working days.
